The students of G.V.M`S college of B.Ed as a part of internship conducted a mini Sci-fun activity in Shri Ganesh Vidyalaya, Harvalem school for students of class 5th to 9th. It was organized in the school science laboratory. Students were very enthusiastic and excited to witness this program. Sci-Fun is an initiative taken by Dr.Anna Neena George to promote the science learning in a fun manner for School students across Goa, we adapted the same concept to conduct the program in Shri Ganesh Vidyalaya, school.
Students found the program mind boggling as something like this was never done for them, they never learnt science concept in such an enjoyable and fun manner without taxing much on their brains. We trained few students to perform many interesting science experiments. The overall response was very good, students were joyous and somewhere we have ignited that spark of curiosity in their mind that’s the true purpose of our sci fun program.
